Position Description- I oversee all things youth from Impact on Wednesdays to events like Turning Point Weekend.
Too many to narrow down to one, but recently I am very passionate about Ephesians 5:14
“Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
Children(Or Pets)-I have two dogs. Belle an American Collie (like Lassie) and a Toy Shitzapoo (don’t judge) named Dakota
Education- University of Mississippi Bachelor of Business Administration
Hobbies and Activities-Tubing on the Lake, graphic design, hanging with friends, white water rafting, watching amazing movies, and reading the Word or books about it
Hero-It is hard to narrow that one down. I have always been a Marvel man over a DC man. I would have to say Spider-man because he is the first hero my father introduced me to. He has every Amazing Spider-man issue to date!…..wait did you mean like a real person?
Favorite Music-Just about anything…I’m not always in the mood for rap though
Favorite Movies-Star Wars, The Amazing Spider-man, Armageddon, the Italian Job, Shooter, the Batman Trilogy, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dumb and Dumber, Back to the Future….anything generally amazing
Favorite TV Shows-Raising Hope, Psych, King of the Hill, Bones, Chuck, the Mentalist, Doctor Who, How I Met Your Mother….just about anything with a developing plot of some kind.
Favorite Coffee Shop (and drink)-I don’t do coffee. Nothing is better than a nice cup of Earl Grey Tazo Tea in the evening.
I was born and raised here in Hattiesburg. I came to know Christ at the ripe old age of five, and I remember it like it was yesterday. Since then, it has been a constant process of drawing nearer to God on a day-to-day basis. I found a lot of success in X-Country and Track and Field throughout high school, which led me to run for Ole Miss. Amongst graduation and different opportunities within the business world, I felt a calling on my life to enter into full time ministry. It has been an amazing journey culminating in serving here at First Hattiesburg.
